My illustration class that meets on Fridays (today) has turned into a "go when I feel like it" kind of class. All through out my school career I had wished for a class with freedom to work and no deadlines. This is that class! However, he placed one criteria down for what our work should build around and that set a few constraints---but still very easy going. Class just seems like such a burden to go to because he sometimes talks to you about your work; but more or less disappears for lengths at a time. Its a part masters student class as well and he thought it would be cool and awesome to have one of them each week do a demonstration on their techniques and process. Sounds cool right? (far from it.) It is a very amateur event from guys who some, are no better than me. Class is basically a time for me and my friend Jason to crack some jokes, talk about movies and plan out future business opportunities.

Class starts in about an hour and I can think of no reason to go today. Jason will be out of town and all my materials (both traditional and digital) are in my reach now.

Here is to college!---what feels like a huge waste sometime
